Born in Florida, Miles grew up loving to play guitar. He often would listen to Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Guy, and Jimi Hendrix. Miles decided to move to Chicago and start his musical journey. He got his foot in the door in the blues community at a young age and started playing at some of the most renowned blues venues in the city. Kingston Mines, Blues on Hasted, Buddy Guys, Honky Tonk BBQ, The Water Hole, Johnny’s Blitz, and so many more! He now has a residency at Harlem Avenue Lounge.

 

Miles has played with almost everyone in the blues community. He has played with Legends like Buddy Guy, Earl Slick, Mike Wheeler, Linsey Alexander, Mojo Morganfield, and so many more! Some say that he was made to play the guitar. Others say it was made for him.

His band is made up of incredibly talented musicians with special guest showing up at every show. He loves walking around and playing to the audience as well as playing the guitar with his teeth, a beer bottle, or anything he can put his hands on. With the crowd involved, he always pours everything he has out on the stage!
